Mae’r “gemau” troelli wedi’u troelli o goeden ffawydd syrthiedig ac wedi’u cynllunio i’w gwisgo a’u troelli un ar y tro ar y fodrwy, neu i’w trefnu, eu haildrefnu a’u troelli fel grŵp yn yr arddangosfa. Pan wedi gwisgo, mae’r siapiau troelli yn chwarae yn y gofodau o amgylch y bysedd, gan ddarparu adborth cyffyrddol i’r llaw sy’n gwisgo’r fodrwy ac i’r llaw sy’n troelli’r gemau. Mae band y fodrwy wedi’i weadu drwy ei daro dro ar ôl tro â morthwyl ar graig sydd wedi’i gorchuddio â ffosiliau, a fenthycwyd o waelod y goeden.
The spinning ‘gems’ are turned from the fallen beech tree and are designed to be worn and spun one at a time on the ring, or arranged, rearranged and spun as a group on the display. When worn the spinning shapes play in the space around the fingers, providing tactile feedback both for the hand wearing the ring and the hand spinning the gems. The ring band is textured by repeated hammering onto a fossil-encrusted rock borrowed from the base of the tree.
