Mae fy ngwaith yn dathlu menywod sy'n gwrthod cael eu cyfyngu. Gan ddefnyddio tirweddau fel trosiadau, rwy'n archwilio gwylltineb, beiddgarwch, a rhyddid eang byw heb gyfyngiadau. Wedi'i wreiddio yn fy ngwrthwynebiad fy hun i rolau traddodiadol, mae pob paentiad yn deyrnged i fenywod sy'n wynebu ofn, yn herio stereoteipiau, ac yn dewis byw heb ymddiheuriad ar eu telerau eu hunain.
Mae fy mhroses yn dechrau gyda throchi yn y dirwedd, cerdded, arsylwi, a braslunio i amsugno gweadau, rhythmau, ac ehangder y byd naturiol. Mae gen i lai o ddiddordeb mewn cynrychiolaeth llythrennol a mwy mewn dal y teimlad o wylltineb a rhyddid sydd gan y tir.
Yn y stiwdio, rwy'n gweithio gyda strôcs brwsh haenog, cyferbyniadau lliw beiddgar, a marciau mynegiannol sy'n adlewyrchu egni gofod agored. Rwy'n aml yn gwthio yn erbyn cydbwysedd a chytgord, gan ganiatáu i densiwn, afreoleidd-dra, ac amrwdrwydd aros ar y cynfas yn fwriadol. Mae'r rhinweddau hyn yn adleisio'r gwrthiant a'r herfeiddiad sy'n sail i'm themâu.

My work celebrates women who refuse to be confined. Using landscapes as metaphors, I explore wildness, boldness, and the expansive freedom of living without restrictions. Rooted in my own resistance to traditional roles, each painting is a tribute to women who face fear, defy stereotypes, and choose to live unapologetically on their own terms.
My process begins with immersion in the landscape, walking, observing, and sketching to absorb the textures, rhythms, and expansiveness of the natural world. I’m less interested in literal representation and more in capturing the feeling of wildness and freedom that the land holds.
In the studio, I work with layered brushstrokes, bold colour contrasts, and expressive marks that reflect the energy of open space. I often push against balance and harmony, deliberately allowing tension, irregularity, and rawness to remain on the canvas. These qualities echo the resistance and defiance that underpin my themes.
