Mae Olga yn artist a churadur amlddisgyblaethol y mae ei gwaith yn cwmpasu cerflunio, lluniadu, a chyfryngau rhyngweithiol. Canolbwyntiodd ei gyrfa gynnar ar gerflunio pren, gan archwilio themâu'r fenywaidd trwy gyffwrdd a symudiad, i fwyhau egni naturiol y deunydd. Esblygodd hyn yn gyfnod o ymchwilio i ryngweithiadau dyn-peiriant a pheiriant-peiriant trwy gerfluniau analog rhyngweithiol, lle gallech drin lleoliad a symudiad trydan yn gorfforol fel data a'i gyfieithu'n sain amser real. Yn ystod ei chyfnod fel curadur, ac yn ei hymarfer diweddar fel artist, mae Olga yn archwilio cydblethu natur a diwylliant, gan anelu at herio cyflymder bywyd modern. Mae hi'n dadlau bod cyfalafiaeth wedi teneuo ein cysylltiad sylfaenol â'r byd naturiol a thrwy wneud hynny, rydym wedi tyfu ar wahân i'r ddealltwriaeth o'n hanfod ein hunain. Olga is a multidisciplinary artist and curator whose work spans sculpture, drawing, and interactive media. Her early career focused on wooden sculpture, exploring themes of the feminine through touch and movement, to amplify the natural energy of the material. This evolved into a period of researching human-machine and machine-machine interactions through interactive analogue sculptures, where you could physically manipulate the location and movement of electricity as data and translated into real-time sound. During her time as curator, and in her recent practice as an artist, Olga examines the intertwining of nature and culture, aiming to challenge the fast pace of modern life. She argues that capitalism has thinned our fundamental connection with the natural world and in doing so, we have grown apart from the understanding of our own essence. For the Coed Coexist project, Olga presents Coed-Code, a photographic documentation of a simple action.
