Mae Ann Catrin Evans yn gerflunydd ac artist metel o Gymru sy'n byw yng Nghaernarfon, Gwynedd. Wedi'i hyfforddi mewn Dylunio 3D ym Mhrifysgol Brighton ar ôl cwblhau Sylfaen Celf ym Mangor, mae hi'n gweithio ar draws metel, llechi, a deunyddiau cymysg. Mae ei gwaith yn cwmpasu cerflunio cyhoeddus, gwaith metel pensaernïol, a chomisiynau seremonïol, gyda gweithiau wedi'u gosod ledled Cymru ac yn rhyngwladol. Mae prosiectau mawr yn cynnwys comisiynau ar gyfer Canolfan Mileniwm Cymru, yr Eglwys Genedlaethol Cymru, a gweithiau celf cyhoeddus ledled cymunedau Cymru. Ochr yn ochr â'i gwaith stiwdio, mae Evans wedi arwain prosiectau celf cymunedol a phreswylfeydd helaeth. Mae ei gwaith yn dathlu diwylliant, tirwedd a thraddodiadau crefft Cymru, gan gyfuno dylunio cyfoes â threftadaeth ddofn. Mae ganddi stiwdio gwaith mmwy Yr Efail yn Glynllifon a Siop gwerthu ei gemwaith ar y stryd fawr yng Nghaernarfon gyda stiwdio gemwaith uwchben.

Eleni mae wedi cwbwlhau dau brosiect cerflunio yn cydweithio gyda ei mab Joe Twm, un ym Methesda ar y stryd Fawr gyda Penseiri Pegwar ac un arall yn gardd Sarn y Plas yn Rhiw.

Hefyd bydd casgliad o emwaith newydd yn cael ei orchuddio yn Amgueddfa Cymru Caerdydd a San Ffagan, sydd wedi ei ysbrydoli gan gasgliad archifau Cymru o aur oes yr efydd.

Ann Catrin Evans is a sculptor and metal artist from Wales who lives in Caernarfon, Gwynedd. Trained in 3D Design at Brighton University after completing an Art Foundation in Bangor, she works across metal, slate, and mixed materials. Her work encompasses public sculpture, architectural metalwork, and ceremonial commissions, with works installed throughout Wales and internationally. Major projects include commissions for the Wales Millennium Centre, the National Church of Wales, and public artworks throughout the communities of Wales. Alongside her studio work, Evans has led extensive community art projects and residencies. Her work celebrates the culture, landscape and craft traditions of Wales, combining contemporary design with deep heritage. She has a larger Yr Efail work studio in Glynllifon and a jewellery Shop on the high street in Caernarfon with a jewellery studio above.

This year she has completed two sculpture projects in collaboration with her son Joe Twm, one in Bethesda on the high street with Pegwar Architects and another in the Sarn y Plas garden in Rhiw.

A collection of new jewellery will also be housed in Amgueddfa Cymru Cardiff and St Fagans, which has been inspired by the Welsh archives' collection of bronze age gold.
