O fewn pob darn roeddwn am bwysleisio ffurf naturiol y pren. Wrth wneud hynny, tynnais sylw at y gwead, y cromliniau a’r amrywiadau sy’n deillio o’r goeden ei hun. Mae’r broses hon yn fwy greddfol, gyda’r nod o adlewyrchu cymeriad y goeden ffawydd. Yn gyffredinol, mae’n ymwneud â chreu darnau gemwaith unigryw tra’n parchu’r deunydd crai.
Within each piece I wanted to highlight the natural form of the wood. In doing so, I drew attention to the grain, curves and variations that come from the tree itself. This process is more intuitive with the aim to reflect the character of the beech tree. Overall, creating unique pieces of jewellery while respecting the raw material.
