Symudodd Janetta o'r Cotswolds i ogledd Cymru pan oedd hi'n bedair ar ddeg oed. Mae bellach yn byw yn Y Felinheli, Gwynedd, ac yn ffodus cael mwynhau golygfeydd o'r Fenai a bod yn agos at dirweddau mawreddog Eryri a'r ardaloedd cyfagos. Mae’n mwynhau cerdded ymhlith y llynnoedd a'r mynyddoedd ac dyma sy’n ei hysbrydoli. Dechreuodd beintio yn ei chwedegau ac mae wrthi ers chwe blynedd bellach. Acrylig yw ei chyfrwng dewisol ond mae'n defnyddio collage o bryd i'w gilydd.

Janetta moved from the Cotswolds to north Wales when she was fourteen years old.  She now lives in Y Felinheli, Gwynedd where she can enjoy the views of the Menai Straits and be close to the majestic landscapes of Eryri and surrounding areas.  She particularly enjoys walking amongst the lakes and mountains from which she gets her inspiration.  She started painting when in her mid-sixties and has been painting for six years now.  Her chosen medium is mainly acrylic but she occasionally uses collage.
