Peintiwyd ei weithiau cynnar mewn acrylig, ond deng mlynedd yn ôl darganfu Gareth gyfrwng pasteli meddal, ac yn 2021 daeth yn Artist Cyswllt Unison Colour, y gwneuthurwr pasteli meddal byd-enwog.\u003cbr\u003eYn ddiweddarach yr un flwyddyn, cafodd ei ethol yn Aelod Llofnod o Gymdeithas Pastel America.  Yn 2025 dyfarnwyd statws Master Circle iddo gyda Chymdeithas Ryngwladol Cymdeithasau Pastel.  Yn enillydd sawl gwobr ryngwladol, mae wedi arddangos yn Orielau'r Mall, Llundain gyda Chymdeithas Frenhinol yr Artistiaid Morol a Chymdeithas Pastel.\u003cbr\u003eGan weithio bellach yn gyfan gwbl mewn pastel meddal, mae wedi dod yn eiriolwr angerddol dros ei gyfrwng dewisol, gan arddangos ac addysgu gweithdai ledled y DU ac Ewrop.\u003cbr\u003eEi brif ysbrydoliaethau yw'r môr a'r cyffiniau arfordirol, ond mae'n cael ei ddenu fwyfwy at dirweddau ei ogledd Cymru enedigol. Mae ei arddull yn gynrychioliadol, ac mae ei waith yn dangos dealltwriaeth wych o liw, cyfansoddiad a phwysigrwydd golau.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eGareth originates from north Wales and has emerged as an internationally acclaimed pastel artist in recent years. He lives and works from his studio in Eryrys, Denbighshire.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003e \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eArt school trained and formerly a graphic designer, he switched to the world of fine art in 2010. His early works were painted in acrylics, but ten years ago Gareth discovered the medium of soft pastels, and in 2021 became an Associate Artist of Unison Colour, the world-renowned manufacturer of soft pastels.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eLater the same year, he was elected as a Signature Member of The Pastel Society of America.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eIn 2025 he was awarded Master Circle status with the International Association of Pastel Societies. Winner of several international awards, he has exhibited at the Mall Galleries, London with both the Royal Society of Marine Artists and The Pastel Society.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eWorking now exclusively in soft pastel, he has become a passionate advocate of his chosen medium, demonstrating and teaching workshops across the UK and Europe.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003e \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eHis main inspirations are the sea and coastal environs, but he is increasingly drawn to the landscapes of his native north Wales.
