Mae gen i hefyd gefndir mewn Permaculture a thyfu organig sydd wedi’i blethu drwy gydol fy ngwaith. Mae prosiectau cyfredol yn cynnwys llwybr pererindod Llwybr Cadfan sy’n rhedeg o Dywyn i Ynys Enlli yn ogystal â Taith Ardudwy sy’n canolbwyntio ar gadwyn y Rhinogydd a’r straeon o fewn y tirweddau hyn fel llwybrau’r Porthmyn a safleoedd yr Oes Efydd. I have exhibited in New Zealand, the Isles of Scilly and Wales. I gain my current inspiration from my connection to the landscape and nature through the process of walking.
I moved to Wales in 2017 and founded the Oriel Tŷ Meirion gallery as an artist led project, which has been opened to the public and supporting artists since 2018 through a programme of exhibitions, events and residencies. The exhibition themes focus mainly on landscape, nature, environment, local heritage, folklore, and
other stories from the region.
My work has particular emphasis on stories tied to the land as well as an underlying emphasis on ecological concerns. I also have a background in Permaculture and organic growing which is interwoven throughout my work. Current projects include the Llwybr Cadfan pilgrimage route which runs from Tywyn to Ynys Enlli as well
as the Taith Ardudwy which has a focus on the Rhinogydd range and the stories within these landscapes such as the Drover’s routes and bronze age sites. Each photograph has an Ordnance Survey Grid reference, which has become a signature style since my Masters and encourages the reader to explore the landscape for themselves.
